Abstracts will be accepted that respond to the overall research aims of the conference and that address the specific themes outlined. Abstracts submitted in accordance with the submission guidelines below will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, who will evaluate the submissions according to their relevance and pertinence to the conference themes.

In order to ensure that all accepted submissions are included in the conference program, once the authors are notified on their acceptance they will be requested to submit their final paper accompanied by proof of their payment for registering to attend the conference.

Abstracts will be accepted in Portuguese, Spanish or English with preference given to Portuguese. Accepted abstracts will be presented in parallel sessions in all three languages in accordance with the conference programme.
